We have had a very close and successful working relationship with Oakwood Contracts Ltd for over twenty years which have seen us carry out many diverse and varied projects for them both in the workshop and on site.
Some examples of the work we have carried out are stainless steel wrapped work tops and stainless items used in the Costa Coffee refurbishment programme that Oakwood have been at the forefront of for six years.
Our on site work has taken us around the country working at a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, retail outlets and airports the most recent of which was manufacturing and fitting structural steel work during the night at Heathrow Airport's Costa coffee.
This project involved us firstly taking and passing a very stingent induction to work on site, once this had been passed we had to bring in all our materials and equipment at 10.30pm (the starting time at Heathrow) and begin erecting the steel work in accordance with the engineers drawing.
We had to vacate the site by 7am and not paint anything after 5am because of the fumes in the terminal building. This project took three nights to complete and was brought in two days under schedule so our customer was very happy.
"Geist Manufacturing Ltd has supplied our stainless steel as well as any other metal work requirements we require for the past 20 years. These products are then used as part of the fit outs within stores such as Costa Coffee and Nandos. The work provided is always to a very high quality and finish with level of service received from their staff also a very high standard, hence the 20 year relationship with the company. I would thoroughly recommend their service.

DMBC is another of our long standing customers who present us with a wide range of work challenges ranging from the odd steel bracket to a kitchen extract system refurbishment.
Our latest project was to produce a workstation/enquire desk at Doncaster Central Library. In conjunction with the project manager a design was conceived and we produced a prototype that went on to be used in all three levels of the library. The design had six main briefs which were...
1. To stand out to be aesthetically pleasing on the eye.We managed to accomplish this brief so much so that they have rolled out this design to another eight libraries across the borough. A variant was produced for the children's department that saw the removal of the drawer, the main body lowered to present a more child friendly height, a bigger work top and vibrant colours to match the departments colour scheme.
